April, as it happened, had spent her morning somewhere else that was yet to be posted, but when she got back to MCA and found her apartment totally dark, she was rather annoyed about it. Even though she'd just had the best breakfast of her life and should really be less grumpy, yeah.

So she stalked upstairs to where her nearest neighbor lived and knocked on the door. "Hey," she called, "is your power out and whatever?"

She wasn't sure what the point of asking was, but she'd seen people do it in movies.
