Third Floor Hallway, MCA, Saturday Afternoon
Right. So, there was no bleeding way in hell Sarah was going out today. None. She couldn't hear herself so she wasn't sure her powers were functional, and she'd seen the... fugly creatures flying about outside. No, thank you. She'd pulled all the curtains in front of the windows and she was staying in. But that didn't mean she had to spend the day alone!
(In fact, she didn't want to spend the day alone. If only so she had someone to use as a shield if the things decided to crash through a window or something. It had nothing to do with her being even the slightest bit freaked out, and she'd punch you for claiming otherwise.)
So she wrote Deafness is dumb, I have booze & ice cream on a piece of paper and made her way out her door and down the hall over to April's apartment.
And then she knocked on the door.
And then she took way too long to realize that did absolutely bugger-all. It was embarrassing. But hey, at least no one would ever know. She still cursed at her own stupidity there.
And then, she pulled out her phone and texted April. I'm behind your door come open it.
