Guidance Counselor's Office, Wednesday
Electroclash was sneezing a lot today.
She had not been sneezing a lot yesterday. Or even this morning. Or, in fact, any time before she'd come into her office. So, naturally, the only logical explanation was to assume that there was something she was allergic to right here in the office.
Now, other people might have taken this as their cue to leave. Electroclash took it as her cue to turn everything upside down, trying to find whatever the fuck was causing this incredibly annoying reaction, so she could maybe electrocute it or throw it out the window, or perhaps set it on fire. There was no satisfaction in just leaving. Revenge was where it was at.
Sorry, kids, your counselor was a bit busy pulling open all the drawers and getting paperwork strewn all about. But enter if you dare.
[ooc: Open! Only method RP as far as the sneezing goes.]

That was half sarcastic and half not.
"Well, I probably won't be the same as whatever other counselor you've had before." Wow, really? She finally looked up from inspecting a pile of random crap on her desk. "And don't just stand there like a dolt, come on in."

"I'm Theo," he said tentatively, moving to take a seat. "I'm new."

That was an excellent thing to check first.

There were so many options.

And there were far dangerous people that would love to get at him. They were just in another realm.
"So, I guess I'm not bonkers if we go with those definitions."

He knew about doctor/patient confidentiality but Electroclash seemed to be the type that might not care about that.
"Be careful here, Theodore," Ange said, sizing up this new person. "I don't trust her."
"I like her." Of course Dev would like Electroclash. Of course he would. "I think you should keep seeing her, Theo. Never go back to Dr. Brockton. This is much more fun!

Too bad it also made her sneeze again.
"Please, don't flatter yourself," she said, once she'd recovered. "I have much more interesting things to talk my mates about than any of you little kidlets and your business. Rest assured."

"So, I do hear voices." And he was going to just say that and she how she reacted before delving any further. Because he figured she'd either laugh or sneeze or something. But, he could at least tell Dr. Brockton that he'd tried.

Theo shook his head to get Ange to quiet down for a second. "Can you taze students? Isn't that illegal or something?"
Re: NFB From Here Just In Case
That might not have extended to students.
But she'd also gotten this job by drunkenly writing an application for it, so.
Re: NFB From Here Just In Case
Well, not if he get Dev inside his head. The minute that big guy manifested and all bets were off.
"They don't tell me to hurt people. They just...talk."
That wasn't true but he also didn't want to give this lady a reason to taze him.
Re: NFB From Here Just In Case
He wasn't exactly sobbing about it. That seemed like a good sign.
"'Part from making you sound like you are off your rocker."
Re: NFB From Here Just In Case
Seriously. Dr. Brockton was going to love hearing about her. Dev wanted to marry her, apparently.
"They talk. I occasionally talk back and we all live happily ever after."

"Well, I suppose if there's no axe murdering happening as a result, it doesn't matter, no. Just making conversation."
Re: NFB From Here Just In Case
Dev took exception to that and let that be known very loudly. Theo grimaced briefly.
Re: NFB From Here Just In Case
... Which she had to look for to find because it wasn't just the useless stuff she'd turned over earlier.
"Hey now, I could also be dismissing you as crazy. Be grateful."
Re: NFB From Here Just In Case
"Yeah Theo, stand up to her!" Dev said, shadow boxing with his big meaty claws. "Don't back down!"
And Theo was heeding that advice. Unfortunately.
Re: NFB From Here Just In Case
"Sounding crazy and being crazy are two different things," she drawled. "So while saying you hear voices makes you sound crazy, I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt. And trust me, I know crazy, I have a psychopath of an assassin as one of my closest friends."
Re: NFB From Here Just In Case
"I just thought I'd should tell someone here about everything," Theo said, shaking his head and standing up. "We don't need to go further than that."
He'd read articles on the computer if he wanted continued counseling.
Re: NFB From Here Just In Case
She waved a hand. "Feel free to drop by. The emails will get you eventually."
