Date night was not something that had happened in this apartment a ton. Not in... well, several years now. Even Sarah and her cynicism had to admit it was exciting, a little.

Not that it was a very seriously date-y date. Nor had she done much in preparation for it, except pick a shirt that had more than enough cleavage happening. She'd just made sure there wasn't too much unseemly clutter happening anywhere Kanan was likely to be, and that she was stacked on both booze and snacks.

And she was.

So now, she was just waiting for him to turn up.

That was fine. Kanan found that he was far more forgiving of terrible jokes when he was in a good mood, himself.

"Deal," he replied. "One thing I pride myself on is my ability to get ready for anything on very little notice, after all."

... This was true, more or less, even when not talking about sex.

"'S a valuable skill," Sarah replied, nodding sagely. Then she tilted her head mock quizzically. "But how's your staying power? 'Cause I've got plenty more booze and crisps, and a couple more places to test you out in."

It was a big apartment, after all!

"Before we seal the deal. Just to make sure you've got what it takes."

Kanan just raised both eyebrows, attempting to look innocent and confused, and mostly just coming off as totally game.

"Why, are you questioning my stamina? Because if you are, there's really only one way to be sure, isn't there?"

Don't worry, Sarah. Kanan could handle it.

Sarah figured as much. And it pleased her greatly.

And she snickered at his expression but still managed a mock solemn nod all the same. "Of course I am," she said. "So you'll just have to show me."

"Challenge accepted," Kanan replied, leaning in with a shameless smile to kiss her again, and then stooping down to see if he could do anything even more exciting with his mouth, this time around.

It was going to be a fun night. He could tell already.
