The pickings were pretty slim in that regard. As far as horizontal surfaces went, there was really just her writing desk (rarely used for its intended purpose) off to one side. Aside from the coffee table, which was both very low as well as flimsy as hell by the look of it.

But of course, there were several spots of available wall space.

She shimmied her way out of the jeans. Still left her underwear on, though. He might want to do those honours, see. (She was also leering at him, because of course she was.)

Yeah, that coffee table was being ruled right out, but walls? Walls were great. And the best thing about them was that he really didn't have to pay close attention to his surroundings to know they were there. When he could watch her pull her jeans off, why would he want to look anywhere else unless he absolutely needed to? Just like he wasn't looking down at what his own hands were doing, deftly unbuckling his belt and working his way out of his own pants as he did so.

Like her, he was going to leave his underwear on. Because, really, that was the most fun piece of clothing to remove, and she'd been kind enough to leave him hers. He very much approved of her thoughtfulness. And if there was a bit of a prowl in his step as he discarded his pants and made his way over to her, at this point he figured it was practically mandatory anyway.

"Hey," he purred. "I see you left me the fun part."

The prowl matched her leering, really. Both were mandatory at this point.

"Figured I should leave you some of the work," she drawled, reaching out to run her hand down his chest. The pads of her fingers, first, but she switched those for nails halfway down. "I like an active participant."

"Well, as much as I enjoy watching, I do much prefer a more hands-on approach," Kanan noted, giving a pleased little shiver as her nails moved over his skin. In reply, he reached his own hands out to trail up along her thighs, moving lightly toward her hips. "It adds a bit of a personal touch."

"And personal touches are exactly what's needed right now," Sarah replied with a smirk and a tilt of her head. Her nails trailed their way down to his stomach, where they stopped to teasingly trace a spiral against his skin. "Really fucking personal, actually."

"The more personal, the better," Kanan replied, leaning forward to nibble at her throat as his fingers finished their wander upwards and then moved to slide in under the waistband of her underwear. See? That was starting to get personal already. And if he slowly pulled that underwear down, that was even more personal still, especially if he kissed and licked and nipped his way down to her shoulder as he went.

He was having all the right ideas right now, if you asked Sarah, who shamelessly pushed her hips against his hand just the once, just to acknowledge what he was doing. Her free arm got draped over his shoulder, as if to keep him closer when he was already pretty much as close as he could be when he was doing what he was doing.

All the kisses and licks and little bites had her exhaling a pleased sigh. And the hand on his stomach trailed downwards a little. Over his underwear, though, because she could be a tease.

Well, the teasing got a reaction out of Kanan in the form of a low, approving sound - mostly because the most obvious reaction to a gesture like that had already happened back when they were still grinding on the couch - and Kanan pulled her underwear down until gravity could do the rest of the work, loathe to move away from what he was doing with his mouth. His hands stayed there for a moment as he appreciated the fine pair of legs they'd wandered down the length of, and then they were moving up over her thighs again, one hand drifting to trail lightly up the inside of her leg.

Because, really, she was hardly the only tease in the room, here.

The more teases the better, really. Sarah could feel a shiver go up her spine with the anticipation. And her smirk was crooked when her hand moved to cup and feel him up, tracing the shape of him through the fabric with her fingertips.

"Well hello," she rasped, quietly.

"And hi there to you, too," he replied, his voice low and thick with anticipation. "To you and your hand."

Pleased to make your acquaintance, Sarah's hand. Very pleased. You could probably tell.

Kanan's hand, in the meantime, was teasing just as much, feather-light fingers moving over her inner thigh, tracing little circles there as he pressed his chest flush to hers and leaned down to kiss her again.

Kissing was always a great idea. Although there was considerably more lip-biting now than there had been before. And there hadn't been any hesitation at any point, but the lack of clothes really amped things up on the kissing front. Lust was... a pretty obvious thing in the way Sarah was kissing him back.

Also the way her touch got firmer. Couldn't quite stroke him through the fabric but she was giving it a decent try all the same.

See, Kanan's way suited him just fine. The way where she had no underwear on, so he was much more free to bring his hand up, to stroke her without all of that pesky fabric in the way. He was a tease, sure, but with the way they were kissing and biting and pressing against teach other, with the way her hand was moving against him, he was quite in the mood to say hello right back.

This wasn't him complaining, but if his mouth wasn't currently occupied, he'd almost certainly be murmuring something along the lines of, 'I win.' Because there was nothing about this arrangement that he didn't enjoy.

Too bad he couldn't say it; it would've made him exactly her type of a jerk. Also she would've argued she was winning because she was the one getting actual skin-to-skin stimulation right now, because that was the kind of jerk she was.

But seeing as the aforementioned stimulation was indeed happening, she made a strangled little noise against his mouth and subtly-but-not shifted juuust a little bit to part her legs just a little further under his touch. Which was another shameless move but honestly, he could already feel the heat and the slickness so it wasn't exactly a secret she was hoping for more stroking.

Which she was also still providing for him. She was definitely getting rid of the fabric very soon, though.

Oh, there would be plenty of time for Kanan to gloat about this later. Or to mutter appreciatively, or to just give her a shit-eating grin that managed to do all of the above. For the time being, wasn't it fortunate that Kanan was capable of taking a none-too-subtle hint? Especially one that led to more of that stroking, appreciating the slick wetness that he'd found there?

Okay, he was going to chuckle softly against her mouth in reply to the noise she made and the way she'd moved, and that chuckle said more or less the same thing. He approved.

She would've wrinkled her nose at him, but as things were, she just gave his lip a sharper bite. That was what he got for chuckling at her! The completely terrifying punishment of a mostly pretty playful bite. Yes.

Also she kind of wanted to sink against his hand and try to get as much of that as possible, but settled for one slight hip-roll against it while now finally starting to tug his underwear downward, because she needed that gone. Right now.

Consider Kanan properly punished. Lesson learned. Enjoying himself earned biting and further undressing, which meant... mostly that he was going to have to do more of that in the future.

Much more of that in the future.

Of course, for the time being, while she worked on removing his underwear, he was going to try to be as distracting as possible with that hand of his, because that was just how Kanan rolled.

Sarah making a brief frustrated noise in he back of her throat probably didn't help his slight smugness any, did it? Oh well.

She still only fumbled with the underwear removal a little bit. Wasn't too long before they were sliding down his legs to where they'd only possibly become a problem again once they'd want to move.

And no more fabric meant she could wrap her hand around him, now. Not too firmly but not too lightly, either. Enough for payback for his efforts at distractions, when she slid her hand up and down his length.

It's okay. Kanan wasn't a full Jedi, but he was at least sure-footed enough to not trip over his own boxer-briefs. Probably. He was fairly distracted at that particular moment and reserved the right to make an ass of himself later because of it, however. For the time being, hey, a sound in the back of his throat that wasn't so much frustrated as appreciative was far better than falling flat on his face, wasn't it?

He had far better things to do than fall over, anyway. Like kiss her even harder, like stroke her a little faster, like snake his free arm around her waist and hold her close and eventually, maybe he'd consider coming up for air.

Air was overrated. They'd get back to it. The closeness was working for her, with all its chest to chest contact. As he could probably tell from the way her nipples had hardened, rubbing against his skin. (Like everything else didn't give it away that she was enjoying herself.)

The quicker stroking made her muffle a moan against his mouth. And since that deserved something in return, her own strokes got a little quicker, with a little more pressure at some spots (like, say, the head). She didn't want to push him too far, but she was definitely aiming for him to be aching to be somewhere other than just within the grasp of her hand.

Crazy how effective that was, wasn't it? The way it got him to pull in a breath, the way his entire body rocked against hers and his arm tightened and it was all he could do to keep his hand from doing what certain other parts of him wanted to be doing much, much more. And as it would turn out, he was the one to come up for air first, to break the kiss and inhale, but to make it worthwhile as best he could with a half-step and a nudge against her, and a statement that was all breath and growl and rumble in his chest, "If you have any objection to being pressed against a wall, now would be the time to tell me."

"Fuck no."

That was a no to having objections. Not a no to the wall. But that much should've been obvious enough from her tone alone, all breathy and low and approving.

Also one more unnecessarily intense stroke.

"Good." Because damn, that hand and what she was doing to him with it were enough to make him move both hands away from what he was doing - he'd get back to that soon enough - so that he could settle them on her rear and pick her up to carry her over to the nearest piece of clear wallspace.

Fortunate that he remembered to step out of his underwear first.

Sarah exhaled a pretty damned crude exclamation at the surprise of being carried. Followed immediately by a raspy laugh (also hanging on to him to best help out with the carrying, not that it was a long way). How long had he said he'd been on the island so far, again? Because she had been missing out.

"Jesus, you must really want this."

She knew she did.

"Can you blame me?"

She had a way with her everything that appealed to Kanan very much, after all, and it wasn't as though he was above showing off a bit, either. He gave her a rakish grin as he pressed her up against the wall, and then leaned in to kiss her again, grinding up against her this time as he did so.

She'd probably been about to snark something, but then there was kissing and grinding, and whatever words there'd been about to be just turned into a moan instead.

It would've probably been a 'fuuuck' if it hadn't got lost in the kiss. But digging her nails into the back of his neck probably worked too, to convey that sentiment.
